Ball Splines

Features: Hiwin Ball Spline

The Ball Spline is a rolling guide spline bearing. The linear movement is created with a ball rolling on a groove connected to the shaft, thus allowing greater loads than with linear bushing and enabling torque transmission while making linear motion.

Ideal where rotary and linear movement is required in one action

Hiwin currently offer three versions; FS, FSR and FBR. These are sometimes called rotary ball splines.
